How much do rings cost? It depends on the cost of raw materials and the form of raw material we start with.

I have listed the precious metal price ranges that cover most rings that my customers order. Precious metal is sold by weight. All ranges below include sales tax.

Precious Metal Prices

Simple Bands: Simple Wedding Ring Prices and Options

Platinum. The high density gives platinum jewelry a substantial feel. The high melting and annealing temperatures require a great deal more fire - bringing out the pyro in many of us. The high price is worth it. Sometimes.
Platinum usually ranges from $1000 - $1900 for a pair of wedding rings.

Hammered Wedding Ring Prices and Options

Gold. Our favorite metal for thousands of years, gold is the most malleable and among the least reactive of all metals. Gold can be alloyed to create a swath of different colors.
Gold usually ranges from $550 - $1050 for a pair of wedding rings.

Inlay Wedding Ring Prices and Options

Palladium. A platinum group metal that made a precious metal comeback in 2004, palladium is a lighter weight, lower priced metal with many characteristics of platinum.
Palladium usually ranges from $400 - $750 for a pair of wedding rings.

Mokume Gane Wedding Ring Prices and Options

Mokume Gane. Fused layers of precious metal can be manipulated into whimsical patterns with this Japanese technique. The mokume gane pricing section includes the cost of materials.

Precious metal prices have been volatile in the past decade and change daily with most suppliers. Some suppliers' prices are defined the exact minute gold is ordered. While I try to keep prices relatively current, be aware that prices are subject to change without notice.
